Monday Yekaterinburg “Motorist” (5th seed in the East) defeated SKA Saint Petersburg (2) in the second round with a score of 4-1. Previously Chelyabinsk “Tractor” (6) beat Dynamo Moscow (1) – 0-4.
For the first time in history, Avtomobilist reached the semi-final of the KHL playoffs: in the next round, the Yekaterinburg team will face the winner of the Metallurg-Spartak pair (2-1).
“Traktor” will meet the strongest in the confrontation “Avangard” – “Lokomotiv” (1-3).
