For Tampa, Russian forward Nikita Kucherov scored three points for his performance, scoring one goal and registering two assists. Colorado forward Nathan MacKinnon showed the exact same stats. Thus, Kucherov and MacKinnon remained in the race for the title of top scorer in the NHL. The Russian is now three points ahead of the Canadian (133 against 130). Note that third place is occupied by the Canadian from the Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavid (126), whose team played two matches less than Tampa and Colorado.
Nikita Kucherov has already become the top scorer in the NHL. This happened at the end of the 2018/2019 season.
