Youth team Russia (U20) beat the national team Kazakhstan during a match of the Future Betting League Cup tournament, which takes place in Novosibirsk.
The match ended with a score of 12:0. Mikhail Ilyin and Egor Soloviev each scored a double. Vitaly Pesterev, Vladimir Mikhalev, Maxim Velikov, Vyacheslav Malov, Egor Varyushkin, Magomed Sharakanov, Alexey Vasilkov and Nikita Artamonov also scored goals.
The Russian team has scored four points in two matches and leads the standings with four points. Next came the teams from Belarus and the Student Hockey League (SHL), who scored two points each. Kazakhstan lost two matches.
In the final match of the tournament, the Russian team will face their peers from Belarus, and Kazakhstan will meet the SHL team. Both meetings will take place on April 28.
