In regulation time, Wyatt Johnston and Miro Heiskanen scored for the Stars, the latter doing so off a pass from the Russian forward. Evgenia Dadonova , who thus scored the first point of the current playoffs. Braden McNabb and Jack Eichel each scored for the Golden Knights.
In the 17th minute of the first overtime, Dallas’ victory was brought by an accurate shot by Johnston, who scored a double.
For Dallas, the victory was the first in this series, the score was 2-1 in favor of Vegas. The teams will meet again on April 29.
