“The general manager of Vancouver, Patrick Alvin, invited me. I had an interesting time and talked with him for a long time. Entertaining conversations, solid level. I looked at how it all worked from the inside. It’s a good experience,” Vorobyov said on “Championship.”
Vorobyov became head coach of CSKA at the end of March after the departure of Sergei Fedorov. Last season in the KHL, the Moscow club was eliminated in the first round of the Gagarin Cup, losing to Lokomotiv with a score of 1-4 in the series.
