Two-time Stanley Cup-winning American defenseman Ryan McDonagh move from “Nashville” V “Tampa” following the trade, according to the Predators website.
In exchange for the 34-year-old hockey player, Nashville received a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and a second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. In addition to McDonagh, Tampa received a fourth-round pick during the next draft.
McDonagh played for the Lightning from 2018 to 2022, winning two Stanley Cups with the team (2020, 2021).
Last season, McDonough played 74 regular NHL games with the Predators and scored 32 points (3 goals, 29 assists).
