Over the years of work in Dynamo Moscow, Erfilov, together with the team as a goalkeeper coach, twice managed to become a bronze medalist of the national championship. In addition, during his stay in the “blue and white” camp, he continued to accumulate the work of head coach in the junior team and in 1982, together with the national team, he became a bronze medalist of the Championship of Europe.
Erfilov began his coaching career in 1961 at the CSKA hockey school. There, among the players born in 1952, the future three-time Olympic champion became his student Vladislav Tretiak .
