Athletistic/Football. Russian hockey player Alexander Ovechkin has explained who he is rooting for in the 2024 European Championship final. He is watching the match with Ak Bars forward Dmitry Yashkin.
“Now we’re going to watch football. I’m for Spain,” Ovechkin said in a video posted by Yashkin ahead of the start of the Euro 2024 final.
In the semi-finals, the Spanish team beat France 2:1; Yamal and Olmo scored in this match. England beat the Dutch 2-1 in the last minutes at the same stadium. Kane and Watkins scored for the English.
The current champion is the Italian team, who beat England in the anniversary of Euro 2021.
