Athletistic / Hockey. Hockey agent Shumi Babaev, who represents the interests of Avangard Omsk forward Vladimir Tkachev, spoke about the severity of his client’s injury. According to Babaev, the 28-year-old Russian was out for several months due to “lower body” injuries.
“Due to an injury, Vladimir Tkachev was absent for the next months. After the injury sustained during training, the hockey player received prompt medical care.
“Tkachev is now in the clinic and will soon return to Omsk after consulting with doctors. It is in his hometown that the hockey player’s rehabilitation after an injury will begin,” Babaev wrote on his Telegram channel.
Vladimir Tkachev has been playing for Avangard since 2022. In the 2023/2024 season, the forward scored 86 (20+66) points in the “goal+assist” system in 70 matches with an overall utility indicator of “+12”.
It is worth noting that in May, Tkachev signed a new five-year contract with Avangard, valid until May 31, 2029. According to media reports, the forward’s salary ranges from 100 to 120 million rubles per year.
