Athletistic/ Hockey. The Ottawa Senators have signed Russian forward Nikolai Kulemin to a tryout contract, the Canadian club’s press service reported.
Over the past six seasons, the 38-year-old forward has played in the KHL with Salavat Yulaev and Metallurg. Last season, Kulemin played 46 games for the Ufa club, during which he scored 13 goals and 12 assists, scoring 25 points.
In the NHL, Kulemin played 669 games, playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders. During that time, Kulemin scored 274 points, scoring 121 goals and giving 153 assists.
