Attack Ivan Chekhovich will continue his career in “Vityaze” reported the press service of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The agreement with the 25-year-old striker is for one season.
In the 2023/24 season, the Russian played 59 KHL regular season matches for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and scored 11 (4+7) points. In the playoffs, the forward collected 4 (2+2) points in 12 games. In August, the player was subject to the waiver draft and his contract was terminated.
Chekhovich also played in the KHL for Torpedo. In 2017, San Jose selected the hockey player 212th overall in the league’s NHL Draft. The athlete played in four games and made one assist.
