Chekhovich became a player of the Balashikha club on Friday, the hockey player’s contract is for one season.
A native of Yekaterinburg, Chekhovich spent the last two seasons at Lokomotiv. Previously, he played for Torpedo. In 2017, the hockey player was selected by San Jose with the 212th overall pick in the draft. In the NHL, he played four games and provided one assist.
In the 2023/24 season, he played 59 games in the KHL regular season and scored 11 points (4+7) with a utility indicator of -3. In the playoffs, the forward scored 4 points (2+2) in 12 games.
