Line referee Valery Kurakin was injured after a collision with the Yaroslavl striker “Lokomotiv” Daniel Booth in the FONBET KHL championship match with “Kunlunem” .
The meeting is currently taking place in Mytishchi. Kurakin was injured during one of the episodes of the match in the middle of the first period. Booth struggled along the boards with Kunlun defender Ian McCoshen and collided with the referee. The referee crashed into the boards, fell to the ice, after which he was treated by doctors. The match was briefly interrupted, but the referee managed to continue the match.
