The State Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Bashkortostan has issued a warning to the Ufa hockey club “Salavat Yulaev”.
As reported, this measure was taken following reports published in the media about the non-payment of salaries of Salavat players for the month of September.
— Previously, the club had already allowed salary arrears to appear, for which the person responsible, the general director of ANO HC Salavat Yulaev, was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 6 of Art. 5.27 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The warning was sent in order to prevent the employer from committing similar labor law violations in the future, the supervisory authority said in a statement.
Previously, information was published in the media that the Ufa club experienced delays in the transfer of salaries and that foreign players did not want to go on the ice a day before the match against Chelyabinsk Traktor. The KHL press service told that Salavat informed the league about the debt owed to players for September.
On Tuesday, Salavat Yulaev will host Sochi in the FONBET KHL Championship regular season match.
Watch the match live from 4:45 p.m. on KHL and KHL Prime channels.
