Ak Bars will always be hated, but we are ready for it” – striker Tarasov

Striker Kazan “Ak Bars” Daniil Tarasov said the team’s players were ready to receive negative feedback after the Fonbet KHL Championship loss, and also noted that the second period was the key moment of the game against CSKA Moscow.

On Monday”AK bars picked up the first victory at the start of the season, beating CSKA with a score of 5:1 (1:1, 1:0, 3:0). Tarasov was marked by a dropped puck.

– No one expected Ak Bars to win like this.

But you see, miracles happen. And sometimes there should be a holiday on our street.

Are you in shock yourself?

Yes, we did not expect that. We arrived and thought everything would be different (ironically).

– And what happened to you in the first game against Dynamo?

– I do not know. You can see sideways. We thought we were out of luck. And in fact, we lost on all counts.

– During the match, you were rearranged in threes with Alexander Radulov. What changed?

– I do not know. I was told that I was now dating (Vadim) Shipachev and (Dmitry) Kagarlitsky. I came out. It’s a coaching decision, and nobody asked me there. The second period was decisive. And from the side, it was clear that we started playing our hockey. They threw a lot, created chances. And they succeeded in turning the tide.

– Was Radulov very angry when he was hit by (Sergey) Plotnikov?

I haven’t seen this moment. But Sasha was very busy today. And even before the match, it was visible in the locker room. And all the guys got angry after Dynamo lost. It was a slap in the face for us. So now another team is out.

– Were you surprised that after the defeat against Dynamo you had so much hatred?

There will be a lot of hate in our team anyway. We are all adults, there are few young people. Everyone has played before, got used to all this shit.

– At the end of the match, did you think that CSKA could make a comeback again?

– It is clear that they had to win back, and they went bankrupt. When we were down 2:1, moments started to appear on our doorstep. But we knew they would go ahead, so we played a little easier,” Tarasov told reporters.

In the next game, Oleg Znarok’s team will play at home with Admiral Vladivostok on September 8.
