According to , two current Russian figure skaters Dmitry Aliyev and Makar Ignatov received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office.
Aliyev is 23, Ignatov is 22.
Aliyev is the winner and silver medalist of the European Championships, the champion of Russia. At the 2018 Olympics, the figure skater took seventh place.
Ignatov won silver at the 2021 Russian Championship, the athlete also took third place at the Grand Prix series stage and twice won the Russian Cup final.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a partial mobilization in the country.
