Athletistic/ Figure Skating. An investigation is underway into Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. In February it became known that in December 2021 she had taken a doping test, which turned out to be positive. RUSADA recently announced that the verdict in the Valieva case would not be made public. The AMA reacted to that.

– According to the World Anti-Doping Code, the results management body (in this case, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency) is not required to make public the details of an anti-doping case before it is completed, including any appeal that may be filed and considered.

And in cases involving minors and the like, there is no mandatory disclosure required at any stage. There are very good reasons for this rule, – TASS quotes a representative of the WADA press service.
