Figure skater Alexei Erokhov admitted to feeling great excitement while performing the short program during the second stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi.
On Saturday, Erokhov showed the second result, earning 93.21 points. The first was Olympic champion Mark Kondratyuk (104.51), the top three was closed by Artem Kovalev (80.74). The skaters will present their free program on Sunday.
– Everything didn’t work out. First start of the season. There was a lot of excitement, which surprised me. Rolled in the season as usual. We just didn’t know how the season would go. Thank you to the federation for not forgetting the athletes, for having organized the Grand Prix series for us.
