Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Honored coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova believes that the International Skating Union (ISU) should once again organize the biggest figure skating competitions in Russia.
“We have always participated in the draw for all the medals, we want the World Cup to be held here. It seems to me that Russia is the most worthy country to host the tournament,” TASS Tarasova quotes.
At the moment, Russian figure skaters are suspended from international competitions.
In 2023, the World Figure Skating Championships will take place in Saitama (Japan). The last time the World Championship was held in Russia was in 2011.
