Swedish skier Andersson won the World Cup time trial in Finland

swedish skier Ebba Andersson took first place in the race with a time trial in the classic style at the first stage of the World Cup in Ruka (Finland).

Andersson covered the 10km distance in 24 minutes 49.6 seconds. The second time was shown by his compatriot Frida Karlson (+5.7 seconds). The top three was closed by a German Katarina Hennig (+13.3 seconds).

The World Cup stage in Ruka runs from November 25-27. Russian skiers are not allowed to compete under FIS auspices due to the situation in Ukraine.
