Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Figure skating choreographer Ilya Averbukh shared his expectations for the upcoming congress of the International Skating Union (ISU), which will consider the issue of extending the suspension of Russian athletes from international competitions or canceling it.
“I’m not making predictions, I’m sure it will be very difficult to get Russian athletes back on international departures. There’s a lot of work to do, I’m sure everything will be done,” Averbukh said.
The ISU Congress will be held in Thailand from June 6-10. The question of the participation of Russian delegates will be discussed on the first day of the congress.
