A famous American sportsman and showman had an accident on a snowmobile.

Legendary American race car driver and showman Ken Block has died. According to the Hoonigan Racing Division team, the athlete experienced a fatal accident on a snowmobile.

“It is with deep regret that we can confirm that Ken Block died today in a snowmobile accident. Ken was a trailblazer and an icon. He will be greatly missed,” the statement said.

Blok was said to be driving down a steep slope when the snowmobile tipped over and pinned him down. The 55-year-old man died at the scene from his injuries.

It was noted that Blok was traveling as part of a group, but at the time of the accident he was alone. Medical authorities will determine the official cause of his death.
