The family helped a lot, especially the birth of Eva. I managed to change. I try to spend as much time as possible with my family, after almost every stage of the Russian Cup I fly to them. I took Anya and Eva to training camp in Sochi. I’m ready to go skiing with my daughter. Well, what’s wrong – there are sleds on runners, just attached to myself, and that’s it. I already wanted to do it in Syktyvkar, but there were severe frosts, I had to leave my wife and daughter at home.
With my family, it turned out to be easier for me to survive the situation with our suspension than I imagined. There is no point wasting your nerves on such things anymore. We have a daughter who is growing up, learning something new every day, learning something every day. And when you have the opportunity to see it, to be there, it’s completely different emotions! As part of the 100th anniversary of Moscow sport this season, the Luzhniki Sports Complex will host unique cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions called Race of the Stars. The competition will bring together world and European champions, Olympic medalists: Anton Shipulin, Anna Bogaliy, Alexander Legkov, Alexander Panzhinsky, Alexei Petukhov, Ivan Cherezov, Natalia Matveeva and others.
