Kramer called the expected decision not to allow Russian skiers at the World Cup

The decision of the International Ski Federation (FIS) to exclude the Russians from the World Championships was expected, according to the former coach of the Russian national ski team, who now works in the Italian national team, a German specialist Markus Kramer .

Earlier, FIS General Secretary Michel Vion told Swedish media that there was no chance that Russian skiers would be allowed to compete in the next World Cup.

“I have already spoken about it several times. It was expected that the FIS would not allow Russian skiers to participate in the World Championships, Kramer told the Championship.

The World Ski Championships will take place from February 22 to March 5 in Planica, Slovenia.

As part of the 100th anniversary of Moscow sport this season, the Luzhniki Sports Complex will host unique cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions called Race of the Stars. The competition will bring together world and European champions, Olympic medalists: Anton Shipulin, Anna Bogaliy, Alexander Legkov, Alexander Panzhinsky, Alexei Petukhov, Ivan Cherezov, Natalia Matveeva and others.
