Another Ukrainian boxer Vasily Chebotar knocked out Argentine Jose Luis Castillo
Ukrainian lightweight boxer Yaroslav Khartsyz defeated the Pole Mariana Vesolovsky in his professional debut. The fight took place as part of the Knockout Boxing Night boxing show in Poland.
From the very beginning of the fight, the Ukrainian took the initiative and kept the opponent in the corner of the ring. Already in the second round, the referee stopped the fight, awarding the victory to Yaroslav by technical knockout.
At the same event, the Ukrainian welterweight boxer Vasily Chebotar (13-0, 5 KOs) defeated the Argentinean Jose Luis Castillo (10-8-1, 7 KOs). The Ukrainian also knocked out his opponent in the second round.
25-year-old Khartsyz during his amateur career twice became the champion of Ukraine, and once won a silver medal. Yaroslav as part of the Ukrainian team took part in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
