Warren denies Fury talks with Wilder

The British team is aimed at a duel with Oleksandr Usyk

Frank Warren, British promoter of the WBC World Championship Tyson Furydenied rumors of “secret negotiations” with the former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Warren noted that Fury’s team is fully focused on fighting the WBA / WBO / IBF / IBO title holder Alexander Usyk. Earlier it was reported that the Briton could hold a fourth fight with Wilder at Wembley in case of a deal with the Ukrainian boxer.

Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krasyuk said he was optimistic about the imminent signing of a contract for a unification fight. At the same time, the Ukrainian side insists on the distribution of income “50:50”, given that Usyk owns three championship titles, and Tyson – one.

Fury and Usyk plan to hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. Fury’s promoters are urging the Ukrainian to fight in London, as the stadium in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) does not have time to build by the date of the fight.
