“Russia is a recognized world leader in synchronized swimming” – Matytsin before the start of the Junior Chess Championship

Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin called Russia a world leader in synchronized swimming, addressing the participants of the Russian Junior Championship.

Competitions between boys and girls will be held in Chekhov near Moscow from February 20 to 26.

– Dear friends! On behalf of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and myself, I welcome the participants, organizers and guests of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Championship. Russia is a recognized world leader in this sport. Representatives of other countries are guided by the excellent performance of Russian national teams and the work of our professional coaches.

The geography of the competition is very extensive – about 450 athletes from 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation will take part in the championship. And the beauty and grace of synchronized swimming will also give fans a dazzling spectacle. I’m sure we’ll have some exciting competition days ahead of us. I wish all participants much success and health! – said Matytsin, his words quoted by the press service of the Ministry of Sports .
