The Ukrainian lost to the 13th seed in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zawatskaya lost in the first round match of the tournament WTA 1000 V Dubai (UAE).
Zavatskaya lost in two sets to the representative of Latvia Elena Ostapenko, which received the 13th seeding number. The match lasted an hour and 16 minutes.
In the first set, Zavatskaya gave her opponent two games on her serve and lost 1:6. In the second installment, the Ukrainian forced a fight against Ostapenko, but lost 4:6.
Recall that Katarina made it to the main draw of the tournament in Dubai, overcoming two qualifying rounds. The Ukrainian beat the American Madison Brengle and the Romanian Stefania Bozica.
