Juventus beat Sampdoria in a shootout with six goals and a missed penalty

Adrien Rabiot scored a double against Turin

By the middle of the first half, the Turints took the lead by two goals, defender Bremer and midfielder Adrien Rabiot scored. However, Sampdoria quickly bounced back – Tommaso Augelo and Filip Djuricic scored goals within two minutes.

In the second half, Juventus took the lead again, Rabiot scored a double. Five minutes later, Dusan Vlahovic missed the penalty. And yet, Turintsy managed to score the fourth goal, Mattias Soule scored in stoppage time.

Juventus scored 38 points and is in seventh place in Serie A. Sampdoria closes the standings with 12 points.

Juventus will next face Freiburg in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League on 16 March. Sampdoria in Serie A on March 19 will host Verona.
