Ukraine will play a test match with Germany June 13, according to journalist Igor Burbas.

The meeting will take place before the qualifying matches for Euro 2024 with North Macedonia (June 16) and Malta (June 19). As previously reported, the match will take place in Germany, the German Football Union plans to hold it in Gelsenkirchen or Bremen.

The duel could become the 1000th match for the German national team in the history of the national team. There is also the possibility that the “historical” game the Germans will play with another national team to avoid political overtones.

The Ukrainian national team will play in Group C against Italy, England, North Macedonia and Malta in the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament. The first official match for the blue-yellows will be against England. The meeting will take place at Wembley on March 26, all tickets for the match have already been sold.
