The coach has already negotiated with the club
As it became known to the Sport Arena, Yuri Vernidub close to signing a contract with Kryvbas. According to our information, the coach has already visited Krivoy Rog, where he discussed possible cooperation with the club’s management. The parties are close to agreeing on a contract.
At the moment, the training process is led by the former head coach of Kryvbas Gennadiy Prikhodko, under whose leadership the team started last season.
Today it became known that Vernidub left the position of Sheriff’s head coach, with whom the mentor won the Moldovan championship and for the first time in the club’s history reached the group stage of the Champions League.
After the start of a full-scale Russian invasion, Vernydub returned to Ukraine, joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defends the country from invaders.
Kryvbas qualified for the Ukrainian Premier League as runners-up in the First League (last season was ended ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine).
