According to , athlete Danil Lysenko will miss the Russian Athletics Championship in Cheboksary, but plans to start in August.
Lyssenko’s disqualification ends on August 3, the Russian championship starts a day earlier.
In July 2021, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended Lyssenko for six years (including two years suspended) for violating anti-doping rules and interfering in the results management process. As a result of the investigation, it turned out that the athlete had provided false documents indicating that he could not pass doping tests.
