All-Russian Volleyball Federation telegram channel announced the death of the former head coach of the Russian women’s team, honored coach of Russia Vladimir Kuzyutkin .
The specialist died on June 10 at the age of 75.
– Today, after a long illness, the honored coach of Russia, who led our women’s team to the second consecutive victory in the World Cup in 2010, left us. Sleep well, coach, the VFV said in a statement.
Under Kuzyutkin, the Russians won the World Championship in 2010 and took Grand Prix silver in 2009.
Kuzyutkin also worked in the Turkish league, in the Dynamo of the capital, in Samotlor and in the Bulgarian women’s team.
The last place of work was the men’s club “Belogorye” in 2018.
