Olympic ice dance champion Natalya Bestemyanova shared her joy when figure skater Roman Kostomarov first posted on social media after his hospitalization.
Kostomarov was hospitalized in January and has been under medical supervision ever since. On Monday, the Olympic figure skating champion posted his first social media post since being hospitalized, thanking everyone for their support.

Kostomarov turned 46 in February. Together with Tatyana Navka, Roman won the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin in ice dancing. In addition, the athletes are twice world champions (2004, 2005) and three times winners of the European Championships (2004, 2005, 2006).
