Argentine midfielder Dnipro-1 Domingo Blanco commented on the results of this season and shared his impressions of the championship of Ukraine.
“Impressions are positive, only positive. It was a good experience, and I have a desire to continue it, to get new positive emotions.”
“The whole year can be attributed to the asset. Here football is more intense, tighter, more physical. At the same time, it requires a good technical arsenal, because you need to think and play faster. Our team had a good tournament, we had a good campaign.”
“I am surrounded by good people, a great team. The difficulty lies in the language. If we spoke the same language, everything would be even better. But still, I feel a pleasant energy and have a great relationship with everyone.
“We were able to fight in the championship, were in the lead and kept the tournament tension almost to the end. Unfortunately, for some step towards the finish line, we dropped out of the fight for the championship. That is, everything is connected with football – both good things and the fact that this dream collapsed a step away from a dream.”
This season Dnipro-1 took the second place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship. The team will play in the qualifying stage of the Champions League.
