The defender was disqualified for the use of physical force against the female referee
Appeals Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association granted the appeal of the defender Metalist 1925 Vadim Chervak on the April decision of the FTC UAF to suspend him from participation in competitions for 6 months.
AK UAF reduced Chervak’s suspension to 3 months. Thus, the defender will be able to help Metalist 1925 in the first round of the new Ukrainian Premier League.
Chervak received a disqualification for using physical force against referee Sophia Causes in the First League match Polissya – Metallurg (1:2). At the end of the meeting, the defender pushed the referee.
After the scandalous incident, Polissya terminated the agreement with Chervak. In the summer, the defender signed a two-year contract with Metalist 1925.
Last week, before the test match between Metallist 1925 and Veres, Chervak presented flowers to Reason and personally apologized for the incident in April.
The base date for the start of the new season of the Ukrainian Championship is July 29. In the first round, Metalist 1925 will face Shakhtar.
