Instead of Vladislav, Benito came out in the starting lineup of the people of Kiev
Forward Dynamo Vladislav Vanat missed the first match Aris in qualifying Conference leagues due to temperature. Benito was reportedly replaced in the starting lineup for this reason.
Vanat scored three goals in two UPL matches this season. The 21-year-old forward scored 13 goals in all competitions last season for Kiev, becoming Dynamo’s best player in May-June.
Mircea Lucescu’s team lost to Aris in the first meeting of the third qualifying round of the Conference League (0:1). The Kyivians conceded the only goal in the second half. Luis Palma converted a dubious penalty awarded by Australian referee Jarred Gillett for Alexander Sirota’s handball in the box. Note that the VAR system did not work at the fight.
The return match between Dinamo and Aris will take place on August 17 in Bucharest at the Rapid Giulesti stadium. The meeting will be served by the Austrian team of referees headed by Sebastian Gieshamer.
