Men’s national volleyball team of Ukraine won the first victory European Championship 2023beating Finland – 3:2.
The team of Ugis Krastiņš won the first two sets. Then the blue-yellows lost the next two games in a tense struggle. In the decisive set, Ukraine gradually gained an advantage and won by two points — 15:13.
Earlier, Krastins team lost to Slovenia (1:3), Croatia (2:3) and Bulgaria (1:3). The Blue-Yellows remain in last place in Group B with three points.
In the group round, Ukraine will have to play one more match against Spain on September 5. The four best teams from the group will advance to the playoffs of the European Championship.
