Bekh-Romanchuk will miss the 2023 Diamond League Superfinal due to health reasons

Six Ukrainians will perform in Eugene, America

Ukrainian athlete Marina Bekh-Romanchuk will miss Diamond League Superfinal 2023which will take place in Eugene, USA.

This season, the Ukrainian qualified for the decisive competition in two events – the long jump and the triple jump. However, a few days before the start, Marina withdrew due to health reasons.

Ukraine will be represented in Eugene by six athletes. Yaroslava Maguchikh, Irina Gerashchenko and Yulia Levchenko will perform in the high jump among women, Andrey Protsenko – among men. Anna Ryzhikova and Victoria Tkachuk will also compete in the 400-meter hurdles.

Bekh-Romanchuk won silver in the triple jump at the world championships in Budapest. She also has a victory at the European Games in Chorzow and prize-winning places at the Diamond League stages.

The 2023 Diamond League Grand Final will take place in Eugene on September 16 and 17.
