In the grand finals, FaZe Clan beat Complexity in a tense match
Team FaZe Clan became the winner Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023. This was the first big tournament CS2.
In the grand finals FaZe Clan met with Complexity Gaming and won with a score of 2:1 (Overpass – 11:13, Nuke – 13:10, Ancient – 19:16).
For winning IEM Sydney 2023, FaZe Clan received $100 thousand and a ticket to IEM Katowice 2024. Complexity Gaming received $42 thousand.
Ukrainian esports organizations Monte and Natus Vincere did not make it to the playoffs of the tournament.
IEM Sydney 2023 took place October 16-22 in Australia. The prize fund is $250 thousand.
