The game will be distributed free-to-play
Al-Nasr and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo became an investor in a new football video game UFL.
Forward joined a group of other investors who collectively put $40 million into the development. The footballer himself will also take part in the development of the simulator.
UFL is created by a group of gamers and will be distributed free-to-play. The simulator will combine gaming skills, building tactics and developing a football club from scratch. The developers say that the game will maintain maximum fairness. Success will depend solely on the player’s skills and it will be impossible to “buy” a winning result.
Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner. The 38-year-old forward has been playing for Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia since last winter.
