Dibango was recognized as the best player of Krivbass in the first half of the 2023/24 season

The Cameroonian received 59% of the votes in the fan vote

Defender Ivan Dibango recognized best player in Krivbass in the first half of the 2023/24 season according to the club’s fans.

Dibango received 59% of the fan votes. Second place in the voting was taken by forward Oleg Kozhushko (16%), third – by center back Daniil Beskorovainy (12%).

This season, Dibango played in 18 matches for Krivbass. The 21-year-old Cameroonian has 1 goal and 4 assists.

In early December, Krivbass General Director Vladimir Baenko said that there was “great interest” in Dibango from various clubs, in particular from Swiss Basel. The functionary added that the club will probably activate the option to buy the Cameroonian defender in the winter transfer window.

Krivbass went to the winter break as the leader of the UPL. Yuri Vernidub’s team scored 34 points and is ahead of Dnepr-1 in additional indicators.

The team will return from vacation in January. From January 15 to February 15, Krivbass will hold a training camp in Alicante, Spain. During this time, the coaching staff plans to conduct about ten sparring sessions. Several rivals are already known – local Murcia, Danish Viborg and Polish Piast.

Krivbass will play the next official match with LNZ, the base date of the 18th round is February 24.
