Athletistic/ Figure skating. Representatives of the BGP Litigation law firm failed to defend the interests of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
“We represented the interests of Kamila Valieva at the stage of proceedings before the RUSADA Anti-Doping Disciplinary Commission, and not within the framework of the consideration of the case before the CAS,” quotes Maxim Kuzmin, litigation lawyer of BGP.
On January 29, the CAS published a decision in the Valieva case. The athlete was disqualified for four years – starting December 25, 2021. The figure skater’s results from that date were voided.
Doctor: “Valieva just has a bunch of drugs, it’s starting to be scary. It’s a crime.”
