Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik claims the title best player Girona in January. In addition to the Ukrainian, midfielder Ivan Martin, defenders Ian Couto and Daley Blind, as well as Porto winger were nominated.

Girona is second in La Liga, two points behind Real Madrid. The next match the team of Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov will play against Blancos in Madrid on February 10.
