Russian figure skating champion Sofia Akatieva has resumed training on the ice, coach Eteri Tutberidze reported on the social network.
reported in November 2023 that doctors had banned the skater from putting weight on her leg for three months due to chronic pain, and also asked her to rule out any competitive skating.
Tutberidze posted a video of a training session in which 16-year-old Akatieva skates on the ice.
Akatieva became the winner of the Russian Championship in the 2022/23 season.
