The contract is for three years
Brazilian defender Juninho signed a new agreement with Dawn.
The Brazilian’s contract with the Lugansk club ended in the summer, but Zarya’s management agreed with the player to extend the agreement for another three years. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 28-year-old Brazilian moved to Zarya from North Macedonian Vardar before the start of the 2020/21 season. In the summer of 2022, he went to Paphos, Cyprus, where he played in 36 games (one goal and two assists).
Let us note that Juninho played 31 matches in all tournaments for the Lugansk club. He has one goal and two assists.
Earlier, Zorya announced the signing of Estrela striker Amadora Alioun Ndour. The club also formalized the transfer of Nigerian defender Christopher Nwaeze and Croatian midfielder Jakov Bašić.
Zarya takes 14th place in the Ukrainian Championship, gaining 12 points. Koval’s team will open the spring part of the season with a match against Vorskla. The meeting will take place on Monday, February 26th.
