Ukrainian Nazar Chepurny won gold at the stage Artistic Gymnastics World Cupwhich takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The 21-year-old athlete won the vault competition. Chepurny qualified for the final with the third result. In the decisive competition, the Ukrainian showed a result of 14.900 points, ahead of Wai Hung Shek from Hong Kong and Harry Hepworth from Great Britain.

For Ukraine, Chepurny’s award was the second at the competition in Baku. Earlier, Ilya Kovtun won gold on parallel bars.

Let us recall that Kovtun, Vernyaev and Chepurny helped the Ukrainian national team win a team license for the 2024 Olympics. The Ukrainian team will be able to enter five gymnasts at the 2024 Olympics, who will be able to compete on any apparatus at the discretion of the coaching staff.
