His participation in the game, like Stuani, is practically excluded
Ukrainian winger of Girona Victor Tsygankov will miss the upcoming match of the 32nd round of La Liga against Cadiz.
Girona coach Michel said that the Ukrainian’s participation in the match is “virtually excluded.” Experienced forward Christian Stuani will also not be included in the squad for the game.
The 26-year-old football player continues to experience discomfort in the soleus muscle, which is why he was forced to miss his team’s previous match against Atletico Madrid (1:3 with a goal from Artem Dovbik).
In March, Victor missed some of the matches of the club and the Ukrainian national team due to a knee injury. This season, the Ukrainian played 28 matches for the Catalans, in which he scored six goals and gave four assists.
Earlier it was reported that Girona offered Tsygankov to re-sign the contract on much better financial terms. Victor decided to postpone this issue until the end of the current season.
Girona, with 65 points, ranks third in La Liga, five points behind Barcelona. The meeting with Cadiz will take place tomorrow, April 20.
