“Russians are victims of the situation”: Wladimir Klitschko compared Russia to Nazi Germany

Ukrainians compared regimes to countries.

Former unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko spoke about Russian citizens whose army invaded Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian legend, modern Russia is like Nazi Germany.

“I believe there are parallels between Russia and Nazi Germany, because the Russians are the victims of the situation and they are scared to death to say anything against the will of their authorities. So in a certain sense it is fear, intimidation or coward.”

“Be aggressive with the aggressor, that’s what we say in boxing. You have an opponent with gloves, and what happens if you let him do whatever he wants? Especially if he’s very good at what he wants to do. You need to be aggressive with the aggressor . If you start backing off, you’ll only make the aggressor stronger,” Boxingnews24 quoted Klitschko as saying.

It was previously reported that Vitali Klitschko received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY 2022.
