Verstappen and Leclerc finished in the top 3
Pilot McLaren Lando Norris became the winner Miami Grand Prix. This first triumph British in Formula 1 in a career. He held the record for most podium finishes (15) without winning in F1.
At the finish of the race, Norris, who started from fifth position, was more than 7 seconds ahead of overall leader Max Verstappen from Red Bull. Next were Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
Also finishing in the top 10 were Sergio Perez (Red Bull), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Yuki Tsunoda (RB), George Russell (Mercedes), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) and Esteban Ocon (Alpin).
Verstappen leads the overall Formula 1 standings, 35 points ahead of Perez. Red Bull is in first place in the Constructors’ Championship.
The next Formula 1 round will take place in Italy at the Imola circuit on May 19.
